Sharalyn Mcclain, 28 is charged with aiding or abetting others to commit the attack. McClain is accused of using a dangerous weapon to attack others, a “shoe with a foot in its sole.” She faces a maximum sentence in prison of 10 years. The identity of the injured prisoner was not released. The alleged assault took place at the Rankin County prison last month.
