Brent Bailey, a sixth-generation Mississippian, is currently the state activities coordinator for the 25x’25 Alliance. This effort aims to have America get 25 percent of its energy through renewable sources by 2025. Bailey graduated from Carthage High School and earned a bachelor’s in engineering at Mississippi State University. Bailey was awarded the MSU College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Alumni Achievement Award in recognition of his contributions to the economic viability of state agriculture and forestry. Bailey is a member the Mississippi Farm Bureau, Barnett Reservoir Foundation, and the National Rifle Association. Rhonda Bailey, his wife, and he live in Madison County.
