Knight granted Mississippi Today a grant in the spring to support the launch and operation of the digital-only, nonpartisan news site that covers politics, government, and public policy issues in Mississippi. Mississippi Today was launched in March to cover state and local government affairs, community issues, and education, health and economic development. It also covers Mississippi’s social and cultural culture.
