This is not the success rate to which SEC supporters can relate. They expect better and almost always achieve better. It was interesting to see what the other leagues did. Here’s the ACC: 10-2. FSU wins over Ole Miss. Worst loss: Richmond 37 and Virginia 20. All hail the Richmond Spiders… Big 10: 12-2. Wisconsin wins over LSU. Worst loss: Western Michigan 22, Northwestern 21. Those would be Western Michigan Broncos…Big 12: 7-3. Best win: Texas over Notre Dame. Worst loss: Northern Iowa 25, Iowa State 20. These would be the Northern Iowa Panthers. Pac 12: 7-5. Stanford wins over Kansas State. Worst loss (a tie) Eastern Washington 45 and Washington State 42. These would be EWU Eagles and Alabama 52, USC 6. (That would then be the Crimson Tide). SEC: 6-6. Bama is the best win. Worst loss: South Alabama 21, Mississippi State 20. Conference USA: 6-4 Best win: USM over Kentucky. Worst loss: Charlotte 14, Louisville 70. American Athletic: 10 2. Houston wins over Oklahoma. Worst loss: Wake Forest 7, Tulane (Final score, not partial. Mountain West: 8-4. The best win: There wasn’t really one. Worst loss: Hawaii 3, Michigan 63. Mid-America: 6-6. Western Michigan wins over Northwestern. Buffalo 16, Albany 22. These would be the University of Albany Great Danes. Sun Belt: 6-5. State wins over South Alabama. Worst loss: Toledo 31, Arkansas State 10. These Toledo Rockets are great, by the way. SWAC: 1-6. Grambling 72, Lynchburg 12. This was the best (and only) win. Worst loss was the 327-61 score that six other SWAC schools lost in non-league matches. Ouch!
