Thursday night I will be the Roastmaster at the Mississippi Press Association’s Roast Of Mississippi Public Broadcasting chief Ronnie Agnew. Ronnie is technically my boss (for TV and radio) and used to be my boss at The Clarion-Ledger. Are you under any pressure? Nah. He can’t do anything, so fire him! (yes). It will be a great evening. All funds raised will go to journalism students as a scholarship. He was very funny during my roast two years back. Presentation…………………………Paul Keane (He will give Ronnie a plaque.) As I said, I was roast a few years back. Some pretty funny shots were taken of me, which I found hilarious. Even the Governor joined in and showed me creepy Mr. Bill-like cartoons of him killing my face. I laughed and moved the silverware from him.
