Woman to plead guilty to terror-related charges

According to U.S. District Court records, Young, aged about 20, will appear before Chief U.S. District Court Judge Sharion Aycock in Aberdeen on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. and answer one count of a federal charge. The details of the charges will not be released until then. In 2015, Young, along with her fiance, Muhammad Dakhlalla (23-year-old former student at Mississippi State), were arrested on suspicion of conspiring for material support or resources to ISIS. Dakhlalla pleaded guilty on March 11 to one count for seeking to provide “material assistance or resources” to terrorist organization. Dakhlalla could spend up to 20 years prison and pay a $250,000 penalty. According to an FBI complaint, Young was found to be living in Starkville. She had also been reported to have made online contacts about plans to fly from Columbus, Ohio, to Amsterdam, Netherlands and then to Istanbul, Turkey.
