Wayne Rodolfich, Pascagoula Gautier district superintendent, posted on Facebook that Senator Brice Wiggins (R-Pascagoula) had set up a meeting with EdBuild. Rodolfich posted, “It was great to give the perspective one of the most diverse district in Mississippi.” Rodolfich wrote that “we talked graduation rates,” English Learners, Super Saturdays and Star Bus, strategic plan, bandwidth expansion, technology trainings and our 600 home visits for struggling readers last year.” Although no dates have been established for future meetings, the legislative leadership stated that they would like to have a bill based upon EdBuild’s recommendations for the 2017 session.
