Got questions Send ’em in

Q. ESPN’s Danny Kannell stated Saturday that Ole Miss has control over its football destiny for this season. How is this possible? A. A. In fact, Texas A & M is also undefeated at the SEC West. They lead Alabama by a half-game and Ole Miss by a whole game. Ole Miss must win and receive lots of support. This is possible, but unlikely, since Alabama and Bama would need to defeat each other. Q. Q. Do you think Mississippi State could win six wins and reach a bowl? It will be extremely difficult. It will start with a win over Auburn on October 8. The Bulldogs must win four more. The Bulldogs have home games against Auburn, Samford, Arkansas, and Texas A & M. They also have road games with BYU and Kentucky. Do the math. They are currently favorites over Samford and Kentucky. It’s going be very difficult. Q. What is wrong with Nick Mullens’s work? A. Many drops, new receivers. He has completed 58 per cent of his passes for 913 yards, and nine touchdowns in four games. His numbers aren’t as impressive as last year, but they will improve as he adjusts with new coaches and new receivers. Q. Q. Who votes for Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame? How do you become nominated for the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame? A. A. This committee is representative of virtually all aspects of Mississippi sports. Anyone can nominate someone to the MSHOF. You can download the nomination form here. You can find the complete list of nominees here. *** I will answer questions from readers as best I can.
