Listening sessions kick off Alcorn State’s presidential search

Al Rankins, former president of ASU, was appointed earlier this summer to manage Mississippi’s college board. He is the first African American to become Commissioner for Higher Learning in the state. Dr. Donzell Lee serves as interim president. The Clinton Bristow Jr. will be hosting a meeting of the Trustees with stakeholders. The Trustees will meet with stakeholders in the Clinton Bristow Jr. Dining Hall. They will begin with students at 1 pm, then meet with faculty and administration, before concluding the listening sessions with a meeting for alumni and the community at 4.
