Alexander will be leading Mississippi Today’s impact fundraising efforts. She will work closely with senior leadership in order to increase individual investment in the nonprofit newsroom. She brings 15 years of fundraising experience to Mississippi Today. She was a leader at Children’s of Mississippi and the American Heart Association, where she was responsible for philanthropic development as well as implementation of mission-related strategies. In addition, Alexander ran a successful fundraising consulting practice. Alexander has secured over $14 million in gifts throughout her fundraising career. She is known for being professional, engaging and passionate about the mission of the organizations she serves.
