My mission was to brag about the outstanding work of my Mississippi Today coworkers and let them know that they should be looking at us. I joked that I was following their philosophy until I reached this part: To devote so much time to improving yourself that you don’t have time to criticize other people. My career as an editorial cartoonist is over. However, I do believe that this part of my creed summarised my mission: To be as passionate about others’ success as I am about mine. Yup. Mississippi Today is doing a great job. I’m looking forward to my next trip to spread the word. I look forward to another great piece of hamburger steak.
