Anderson Jones Sr. is a Filter resident. He walks less than one mile each week to reach his home, where floodwater can be seen from his front porch. Jones parks his car and then uses a small boat for navigation through floodwater. He then uses his ATV to get home. His vehicle is now enclosed by sandbags that keep water out. Jones sustained serious injuries in a car accident in 1990 that left him permanently disabled. Because of his disability, Jones’s journey home each week is even more difficult.
