Small businesses and homes in Desoto, Harrison and Jackson can get an AT&T internet package ranging from $50-$90 per month, depending on their speed. U.S. U.S. Broadband internet services were made available to small and medium-sized businesses as well as homes. These include internet, phone, and satellite TV. Thompson stated that it helps everyone, from telehealth to the education gap. “Unfortunately, Mississippi ranks last in many areas. This type of technology could help close the gap between Mississippi and other states in many areas, Thompson stated. She said that AT&T has received $50 million each year from the fund for six years to help Mississippi communities.
