According to The Daily Journal, Toyota announced Thursday that it will invest $170 million more in Blue Springs’ plant and hire 400 additional workers. Rain prevented the ground breaking for a $10 million visitor and training center that will be 15,000 square feet. It was scheduled to open in November 2019.
