According to the Annie E. Casey foundation’s annual report, Mississippi has made improvements in economic, educational, and community factors that measure children’s well being. However, the state remains near the bottom of the country overall. The state ranked 48th this year in the overall rankings, having improved on almost all 16 indicators.
